This California girl couldn’t handle Chicago’s cold, wind and rain but thankfully I found sweet refuge in the city’s famous Shedd Aquarium. I hadn’t visited an aquarium since my childhood and so I was impressed by Shedd and it’s variety of creatures you don’t get to see everyday. Ticket prices vary on the amount of exhibits you want to see, which include Amazon Rising, Oceanarium and Wild Reef but I highly recommend the aquarium’s Aquatic show as it was the highlight of my visit. The weather may have been brutal on my last day in the Windy City, but Shedd Aquarium kept me warm and made me feel like a kid all over again.
